Naomi Monson

Naomi joined HMRC as a "fast track" inspector after graduating with a 2:1 Joint Honours degree from Lancaster University, where her undergraduate research was accepted and published in 'Medical Science Research'.
As a Fully Trained Inspector Naomi worked in a wide variety of Revenue offices including a spells in large "City" offices in London, and as a Deputy District Inspector in a local office.
Her caseload included responsibility for the tax affairs of larger national and international corporations, as well as smaller companies. She was also responsible for the implementation of a number of Head Office initiatives within the new Area Offices and within local offices, Areas and London Region as a whole.
During a career break to have a family Naomi became a school governor, quickly being chosen to be Deputy Chair and then Chair, helping to facilitate major improvements within the school, taking the school from 'Satisfactory' to 'Outstanding' in three years.
Naomi is the office manager for VSL as well as undertaking the research for all valuation appraisals. She has her own caseload of valuations, specialising in Taxation.
